New Bosch Jig Saw Blades Deliver Clean Cuts In Plastics

Cutting plastics is not really that difficult to do, but making clean cuts on plastics is. If you use the wrong blade you will end up chipping the plastic, melting the plastic along the cut line, or in some cases, you might do both. A new Plastic Range of jig saw blades from Bosch has been designed to take on the problem that come along with cutting plastics.

Bosch has come out with a few blades to match different plastics, including Clean for PVC, Clean for Plexiglass, Clean for Polypropylene and Clean for Carbon Fiber. According to Bosch, the plastic blades require a different geometry and material composition to deliver superior results. The blades also feature a special relief in the teeth that “shifts heat away from the blade and keeps the plastic around it cool”.
